ESU’s Public Speaking Competition 2023

The director of the PUCV English Programme, Mrs. Claudia Parra, was a guest judge in the recently held Public Speaking Competition organised by English Speaking Union Chile.

The ESU is a non-profit organisation that was founded in Great Britain in 1918 by Royal Charter. Her Majesty the Queen is Patron of the ESU and Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal serves as President, having in 2011 succeeded her father (RIP), His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh.

Together with over 50 international branches, the ESU Chile encourages the development of effective communication skills in English to improve assertiveness, foster better relationships, support conflict prevention and resolution, provide clarity, increase engagement, and promote team building.
